- Grateful -

I’m grateful more than you can think

My gratitude is o’er the brink

For things you never had a thought

Because my thanks cannot be bought

I’m grateful for the gravity

It’s always there to service me

It never fails to do its job

More handy than a zillion knobs

Or consider now the number nine

Without this number I would whine

If not for nine, we could not count

For other numbers must then dismount

Oh yes, I do for other things

My gratitude begins to sing

For friends and frolic, freedom too

I bow to all with much ado
