Ode To A Timeless Time

Beyond the veil of time so vast
I woke to death, alive at last.
All stories fell ‘neath that timeless glare
Its realness more than I could bare.

That timeless me had no more use,
It seemed to me, for drama’s juice.
A terror filled my soul with dread.
Without my stories, I’d be dead!

I grasped at straws, is there a chance?
Go back to sleep, into time’s trance?
Let me forget what I know now.
I won’t return, I took a vow!

But on the way, back into time…
That realness made my life sublime.
Yet fade it did as I forgot,
That timeless realm where dreams are naught.

Two worlds, it seems live side in side.
The timeless contains where time abides.
But could a timely time arrive?
When ego plays ‘neath timeless eyes?
