23 Life Inspirations

When you were young, so small and free,

You were you for all to see!

Curiosity and Wonder bright,

Authenticity through day and night!

You Asked and Danced and laughed out loud,

Wildness and Joy—both unbowed.

Innocence, Playfulness endowed,

Anger, Crying, Excitement vowed.

Asking without apology,

Refusing, living wild and free.

Sensuosity in every move,

Silliness—nothing there to prove.

Forever Dawning led your way,

You lived as Sovereign every day.

Powerlessness and Surrender too,

Wonder and Awe lived through you.

But as you grew, the world said "Stop!”

“Settle down, you cannot hop.

Adults don't cry, don't question why,

Don't dance or let your Anger fly.

Hide your Fear, be dignified,

Tuck Vulnerability deep inside."

Your right to “no” you betrayed,

Your Sovereignty you gave away.

Your Sensuosity, your Wildness bright,

Your Fearfulness—tucked out of sight.

Forever Dawning fades to black,

Wonder had a fear attack.

Your Playfulness and Lightness too,

That’s how you put your life askew.

But here's what no one ever told:

Those inspirations are still your gold!

They wait behind those doors you barred,

To free them will make you a star.

Creativity and Imagination's call,

Boundary-Setting, Self-Determination's all,

Vulnerability and Openness within,

That's where the fullest life begins.

These inspirations are yours to own,

They're still alive, not overthrown.

So reclaim them now, don't delay!

Let them light up your every day.

Your inspirations are there for you to claim,

Their spirit calls you by their name!

I got it!
